Film soundtrack two is complete.

It was an epic, can't wait to show the world in 2026.

Love to co-writer @jenniferoneill.bsky.social, Director Andrew Delaney and Producer and Drum extraordinaire Rees Broomfield .

We have been deep in the writing for the next film score for a while now, and I'm glad to say we are still laughing.

Can't wait to share what we have done. Can't wait to get some sleep too.

Visit Southend - A great project to be part of with New Art Films and @lukebranch.bsky.social
A couple of years ago, New Art Films commissioned me and @jenniferoneill.bsky.social to score Visit Southend—a film about my hometown. It reminded us of Martin Parr’s Think of England, which became a musical jumping-off point.

So lucky to have released this on Cool Thing Records. Very proud of this album
I loved working with this band—so inventive, musically, and lyrically poignant. It’s been amazing forging a creative path with @jenniferoneill.bsky.social on soundtrack work. Gems like Bubblewrap sound as fresh now as they did on Cool Thing in 2020.

Last year, Jennifer O’Neil and I worked on a subtle score for Andrew Delaney’s film about Charlton Triangle Homes, a housing association in South East London. A quiet but important story.

Not long ago, Jennifer O'Neil and I were invited to create a score for a short film titled Mind The Gap, directed, written, produced, and edited by the brilliant Hannah Oliver. Think No New York meets Selected Ambient Works II.

Last year, Jennifer O'Neil contributed this soundtrack to celebrate four years of Creative Estuary. We aimed to create something uplifting, inspired by the spirits of Babatunde Olatunji, Yoko Ono, and Harold Budd. 🌊
