My daughter was on a class trip to Washington in 2012 and reported that a tall, nice-looking, white-haired man stopped them in the rotunda and talked to them for a while. We found her a picture of Joe Biden and she said "Yeah, that's him."

Rudy Yakum in Northern Indiana. A rural and blue-collar area. We've had democratic reps in the past, but with gerrymandering, who knows. He ran as "community Rudy." But the last time he came to town it was to meet with business people not this community. His constituents are not happy.

That's what our school system does. A committee of parents and community members reads the book and discusses it. Of the five books that recently had complaints, each committee voted unanimously to leave the book on the shelf.
