Today, the IAWG urged UNESCO to prioritise a global rights database to ensure that all writers have their work protected & reminded them of their duty to uphold the uniqueness of human creativity in an era where AI developers steal our work and insult culture by calling our creativity “data”.

Only one political party mention protecting artists copyright against AI in their general election manifesto. Sadly there’s no Soc Dem candidate running in Mayo, so if you do have actual choice on your ballot paper, use it wisely.

Back to Terminal 2 to try and get a taxi. Which every body was now trying to do. Though nobody thought to sort people into taxis according to their terminal.

Okay, my attempt to get to Montreal to represent the Writers’ Guild of Ireland at the IAWG General Assembly take two. Two days after I first left my house for this trip. After an unmitigated shitshow in Dublin with Air Canada yesterday am back to my old fave Knock Airport.
