The last day of #EntSoc25 marked the yearly transition in ESA volunteer leadership, as 2025 President Lina Bernaola (left) passed the gavel to 2026 President Melissa Siebert (right). ESA thanks Lina for her service to the Society and we look forward to Melissa’s stewardship of our community in 2026!

For the past week, I have been in Phoenix acting in my other major role – as the 'trophy spouse' to the President of the Bugs (a.k.a. President of the Entomological Society of America), @jenniferahenke.bsky.social, at her annual meeting. Arriving Thursday afternoon, the banners were already up!
