The paper discusses Flagstones in the context of other proto-henges such as Stonehenge and Llandygai, explores small ringforms with cremation burials, and presents a new date on nearby Alington Avenue long enclosure. Also ideas about where this new large circular monument came from - poss. Ireland?

Avebury holds a very special place in my heart. Growing up in Swindon, I would hop on the Marlborough bus from the town centre and go there whenever I could.
