But I come here to say: Dear Liberals, please STOP ASKING former Republican clerks to argue our side of the case. I know you think they "speak Republican." But they also SUCK.

Tonight is the 1938 adaption with Reginald Owen.
On HBO, it includes a some historical info from TCM's Ben Mankiewicz. We are informed that this is the first Hollywood adaption with sound.
This version also has my favorite Nephew Fred.
Yesterday I watched the 2004 musical adaption starring Kelsey Grammer. If you like musicals, watch this one.
Tonight I'm watching SCROOGE (not SCROOGED) with Alistair Sim. Found the b&w version on Tubi (free, with ads).
Today it's the 1999 adaption with Sir Patrick Stewart.
This is a solid adaption, one worth viewing for any fan of this story.
But, if I'm honest with myself, I mostly like it because Captain Picard is in it.
I would have loved to have seen his live one-man show!

Ok. I got annoyed with Carrey's antivax & "just asking questions" thing so I avoided him.
Still annoyed, but I'm running out of "new to me" adaptions of #AChristmasCarol to watch.

•Shot starving Palestinians trying to collect flour
•Bulldozed their bodies into shallow, unmarked graves
•Left them to decompose, scavenged by dogs
•Never documented these murders & tried to hide them
This is what genocide looks like. Horrific.
