Jughead Jones is the “divine fool” archetype (he even has, canonically, a white dog, “Hot Dog”). In Spire Christian Comics he is basically perpetually on another planet, but his words are a divine pipeline from the Lord

The reason I’m so obsessed with Spire Christian Comics—specifically the Christian Archie comics—is because it takes this Tarot imagery and makes it ULTRA LITERAL by having Archie torn between Betty (paragon of Christian holiness) and Veronica (lady of Babylon I guess?)

The reason I’m so obsessed with Spire Christian Comics—specifically the Christian Archie comics—is because it takes this Tarot imagery and makes it ULTRA LITERAL by having Archie torn between Betty (paragon of Christian holiness) and Veronica (lady of Babylon I guess?)
So the Tarot card “The Lovers” was originally about a man torn between two choices: vice vs virtue, obligation vs desire, etc. (I’m breaking up this post into two parts because I have a lot of images)

Today I tried a Moon Pie ("salted caramel") for the first time
- bite 1: "Oh NO"
- bite 2: "this was a mistake"
- bite 3: "hmm the layers of Floam are kind of interesting"
- before the trashcan: "this really tastes like a candle. Like a really inexpensive candle. Here, smell it"

I shared this and then the 5-year old slyly asked if anyone had noticed the paper airplane pinned behind my grandfather clock. I admitted I hadn’t removed it or mentioned it to anyone, because I laugh every time I look at it. “It’s been there for weeks,” I confessed. Everyone turned to look at it
