One of the few positives of getting old (or should I say, auld) has been saying fuck masking. People get what they get with me now, and I don’t have the spoons to deal with their shit.

I used to be reasonably conversational in Spanish and ASL, but I’ve lost a lot. Bits & pieces of French & Hebrew. Can count in Korean, Japanese, & Yiddish.

I missed an entire month of 2nd grade with chicken pox. Thousands of sores and fever as high as 104. I’m now 59 and still have scars and remember the pain and misery. My kids were vaxxed as soon as possible.

I did the same, not anticipating Accredo screwing up billing AGAIN, forcing me to meet my OOP a 2nd time, so now I have $750 in med bills this week that should’ve been covered 100%, with more coming next week 🤬

Seems someone’s doing that at every doctor visit I’ve had lately. Between that and Fox on the tv, waiting room hell has become even more hellish.
