I’m randomly getting a bunch of followers in the past week. Are a new round of people leaving Twitter after the election or did something else happen?

If anyone is like me and accumulated way too many bookmarks and aren’t sure what to do with them, I recommend putting them in a nearby Little Free Library.

My partner and I installed one outside our house when we moved in, and the bookmarks I put out there in December disappeared extremely quickly

#writers, I want to see your covers! Share, please -- along with genre, target audience, and artist/designer.

Can't wait to see them all! (Please share so I can see many, many awesome covers!)

I really hate that over a tennancy you can give a landlord who you've never seen over 20k in rent, and when you move out they wring their hands over some marks in a wall. Ridiculous.

Here’s a bit of a random ask!

I am looking for books written by family carers about their experiences of caring - like The Reluctant Carer, An Extra Pair of Hands by Kate Mosse, Who Cares by Emily Kenway, Twelve Moons by Caro Giles or Tender by Penny Wincer.

📚💙Thank you for your help!

Does anyone else’s app not show them that they have notifications? I have badges turned on but they never appear

For those of you #authors who have had tables at book events, fairs, etc. what has sold best?

The books themselves? Stickers, bookmarks, postcards? Something else?

I keep seeing little events in my town accepting local vendors and have been thinking of trying to start collecting stuff for one.

If I’m in the middle of a book and it gets really good, I immediately feel like I need to stop reading it so that I can read it with my partner

Blog Tour Review: Hannah Sharpe: Cartoon Detective by Janet & Jake Tashjian

This novel taught me a lot about how autism can present itself in children, while also being a meaningful coming-of-age tale.

Thank you TBR & Beyond Tours for the opportunity!

Excerpt from a book I’m reading:

“I want to tell Ms. Stern that the tag is sticking out of her cap but I tell myself that’s a thought bubble— not a talk bubble— concept.”

Idk why but I really like the phrasing of thought bubble vs talk bubble

Are at home covid tests accurate anymore with the new variants?

I’ve been super sick all weekend and the one I took showed up negative, but I don’t know how much I trust it. Of course I could just have a bad cold or a flu ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Blog Tour Review: The Brothers Hawthorne by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

This was a lot of fun and a good way to revisit the world of Avery and the Hawthorne Brothers. I just don't think it was at all necessary.
