I don't think you're wrong but considering they've shown no need for there to be any actual fact to base their spin on, I'm not sure it's accurate. It seems clear they could just say assault and people would believe it without even a hint of reality to base it on.

We know that there are myriad ways people can be intersex, ranging from differences in visible genitalia to internal structure to chromosomal differences that could exist w/out a person ever knowing w/out happening to have had a test that caught it. And that knowledge has expanded over time. (1)

Saying "you're making an assumption these people are privileged. There are many white people who are not privileged" demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of how privilege works. Every white person has the privilege of being white in a society that favors white people.

I fail to see how "we aren't pandering enough to the most privileged demographic so we should fix that" isn't a deeply embarrassing point to be making.
