Human brains do not know the difference between what we imagine and what we see - it's the same neurons. Therapists therefore use imagination as part of treatment, but it's supervised by said human therapist who can see if the client is distressed and will stop the work as needed. LLMs can't yet.

Possibly my favourite movie, hands down. And the scene+music was so iconic that I knew No Time for Caution was missing when the soundtrack came through iTunes (but the track was added a few days later).

I believe the role of his character is Combat Controller. They're the US Air Force people who go into a location to call down an airstrike (pretty dangerous job). Movies.go through naming cycles, we'll see what it ends up with! www.indigo.ca/en-ca/alone-...

I've read some of your work, and I don't know what you mean by "saying anything" but there's clear passion for the characters Rey and Kylo/Ben. They seem very alive in your head!

I wonder if we want to try to map the coverage? I put up a poster in my town today, at 48.2 degrees north latitude. It's only Hoth-like for 6 months/year, and that's when Hallmark films all their Xmas movies around here!

Adam prefers to keep his personal and professional lives separate. For instance he and his spouse hid the fact they had started a family for a couple of years, choosing not to put the baby in celebrity limelight.

Yes! Tron: Ares had few surprises and some highly predictable plot points, but I enjoyed it in part because it reminded me of Harlan Ellison's I, Robot never-filmed screenplay, based on Asimov's short stories! jendaviesgenxnerdblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/what...

@adamdrivercentral.bsky.social In this essay I make a suggestion why Adam might have wanted to executive produce this show. Looking forward to it!

Yes! For folks who don't know The Expanse takes places in the awkward "teenage" phase of space travel between now and Star Trek. The show did an excellent job recreating the excellent books. The casting was spot-on, the screenwriting was exceptionally well-done in terms of truthfulness to the story.
