I will be in mourning until equality is guaranteed for all. You will not see my face or know my pronouns until I am assured that it will be treated as fairly as the white cis-man’s. Until then, i am faceless (hence the profile photo) and genderless (hence my pronouns: they them).

When a 4 year old wakes up at 2am and can’t find the only parent at home (other had shift work) because this is the one time that said parent has any opportunity to be themselves, ever. I remember all those years of harm.

Pt1) For everyone who is worried that LGBTQ+ individuals are harming this nation because they were allowed (briefly and only sort of) to be who they are… let me be a voice of the TRAUMA that can be caused when someone is told who to be and tries to follow societal rules.
