I’m terrified. I’m a blue/normal person in a MAGA red state. I can’t believe what’s happening, and what’s being allowed to happen. I don’t know what to do except get in touch with my reps every single day and let them know they’re aiding and colluding with a fascist every single day.

We need someone to start, and in some cases restart, an alternative to mainstream journalism. I’m thinking of the Readers and Weeklys of the 1980s and 1990s, which covered stories the big papers didn’t.
