Honestly the worst thing about today is running off of 4.5ish hours of sleep. Not for a lack of trying, mind you, body just runs low on sleep some days.

I'm getting flu and covid shots tomorrow so I'm DEFINITELY going to be sleeping in on Saturday.

You bet your bottom dollar. The first cult I bring up in the module I'm writing is the Church of the Eclipse, putting all their weight behind a man who can put people into a comatose state, and trying to convince his followers to make a brain network to return the night, as it's eternal dusk out.

Collective belief has an entire narrative and gameplay element around it. The more people whisper about your deeds, the better you actually are at doing them. So, celebrities now have a collective belief pushing them into super human territory sometimes (which leads into how many cults exist).

OH OH This one is fun. Your name has weight in my setting. The entire landscape has been permeated with collective brainwaves. Which means any time you hear about someone, or you do deeds and grow your own name, stories become reality. "I heard he can throw a cow" becomes HE CAN THROW COWS.
