The highest levels of US Government are meeting today to decide the best strategy for covering up the fact the sitting President had sex with children. America is not great.

when 4-5M people march peacefully against the current regime it's the story of the year. NYT cannot bring itself to focus on that reality.

It is fascism.
At a journalism event I asked about using the word so journalism can cover and explain it. I was told that we can't call fascists fascists because it would put off the fascists.
This is fascism. Those who refuse to identify it are not doing journalism.

It's hard to adequately describe how scary it is to watch mainstream political journalists barely push back against a sitting U.S. president accepting a $400M plane from a foreign government that would literally be designated as an emergency command-and-control center during a nuclear war.

A judge arrested. A mayor arrested. Next an opposing member of Congress or the Senate will be arrested. And then, and then and then. The fascism is worse every day. Wake up.

1. I want to suggest today that what we are seeing on Wall Street and in markets around the world is the sudden realization that the president is mentally unstable – that he has dementia, probably – and as a result of that realization, investors no longer have any faith in Donald Trump.

If there were 20 goons with AR-15s slung around their necks at one state capitol when Biden was president it would be the above the fold headline. There were over 1,400 separate protests and millions of people in the streets yesterday. @nytimes.com gave it a tiny square below the fold. Pathetic.
