This has been very true. For better or worse a lot of readers are seeing my institution's work as regurgitated by LLMs, so it behooves us to write as clearly as possible so that LLM output is more fact-based than it otherwise would be.

Taking the argument on its face, it would make more sense if 3I/Atlas hadn't had an anti-tail on the sunward side starting back in July, more AUs from the sun than at perihelion.

If you were going to swing past the sun for some sort of orbital maneuver, why thrust away from it for weeks on end?
