That I don't publicize, I'm sorry. Among other considerations, I hold a federal clearance. #NotAloneTalk

Hi Sam! It's getting *chilly* here now near Washington, DC. Hopefully the shutdown is coming to an end so maybe I can go back to work soon. #NotAloneTalk

Pete and Repeat were on a boat. Pete fell overboard. Who was left?

Repeat.

Basic law of human nature in general. Adaptive preferences. Sour grapes.

What the hell drives so many people to violate others' bodily autonomy like that?

Stop shooting the messengers.

When the Republicans own the federal government lock, stock, and barrel, and have proven their willingness to sit out the shutdown indefinitely no matter who gets hurt, we have to take what we can get.

Look toward this time next year -- throw the rascals out!

So, how many more shutdown wins until they're ruined?
November 11, 2025 at 6:16 PM
Not I. For example, I just started reading a book that smears all over Western ideas of freedom of speech, both to understand better my own views and to see how I can disprove the other side's.

Of course. God forbid you accept the consequences of your actions.

This looks like an anti-sex-trafficking ad.

Which is probably true.

Yes, the Democrats won a slew of state and local off-year elections last week.

Yes, President Donald Trump is as popular as a carton of week-old milk.

The GOP still owns the federal government, all branches, lock, stock, and barrel.

Being booed on live TV, and even losing off-year state and local elections, doesn't strip you of your party's control of all branches of the federal government.

Senator McMorrow, yes this deal sucks.

The $64,000 question: Given the facts on the ground, including GOP control of all branches of the federal government + ability and willingness to inflict massive pain in a shutdown, how likely can we get a *better* deal? And how, if at all, do we do that?

By the way, I assume this wasn't an accidentally misdirected sext, yes?

I don't know if it works OK for you.

But it could be the worst-case scenario for others.

Because that would still let them know the worker is autistic so they'll know to fire the worker if they don't want to make major accommodations.

But they can still deny they knew because it wasn't official.
