The Très Riches Heures exhibition at Chantilly was probably a once in a lifetime experience! Two highlights: Barthélemy van Eyck’s depiction of Saumur with the lists still in place from King René’s jousts, and a Book of Hours for King René by Barthélemy and Enguerrand Quarton.
