Exactly, the originals felt very raw and in that way, honest. Even Return of the Jedi with its much bigger budget still had that feel because it was the same scrappy group making it.

It’s a very character building moment, I wouldn’t be surprised if the “how are you” wasn’t made up on the spot. The originals are full of this kind of dialog, “aren’t you a little short for a stormtrooper?”, the prequels didn’t manage it.

It turns out I’m really good at being social, which means a lot of people don’t understand that I find it really, really draining and generally don’t look forward to it even though I enjoy it while it’s happening, for a while.
