I despise the Eagles, but I’d be fine if Harrison Butker missed a game-winning field goal.

To all the fascists and bootlickers who trust Elon and his cohorts, are you willing to give them your Social Security number and bank account number?

Just a heads up: the idiot can’t end FEMA with a stroke of a pen. It was created by a law, and it’ll take a law to end it.

To all my neighbors: a friendly wave from the car is not an invitation to walk into my driveway and start a conversation.

State and local governments can’t be compelled to enforce federal law. See Printz v. United States (1997) and Prigg v. Pennsylvania (1842)

Remember when Republicans called Obama a tyrant because he dared to sign executive orders? Trump signs one to try to undo a constitutional provision, and they’re totally cool with it.

My Con Law class. Had the students fill out a notecard with their info on it. One question was pronouns, to which one student responded, “I’m a guy. It’s obvious.”

I asked them whether they had taken an American Government course. His response: “No—self-taught.” 🤦🏻‍♂️

This is rarefied air: the Chiefs are only the fourth team to repeat as Super Bowl champions and make it to the conference championship in the third year. 1976 Steelers, 1990 49ers, and 1994 Cowboys all lost their championship games.

Regarding the Equal Rights Amendment, here are the legal issues:
1 Congress put a deadline on ratification. Can it do that?

2 Some states have rescinded ratification of the amendment. Can they do that?

If no/no, then the ERA is the 28th Amendment. If yes/no no/yes, no ERA

I don’t know if the NFL keeps stats on this, but Cooper Rush has to lead the league in passes batted down at the LOS.

Bills up on the Jets 12-0 sounds like a Bills-Jets game from my childhood.

Disappointed they didn’t leave the baselines in for these bowl games. We need more mud.

Republicans have always been better at messaging. Dumb it down, dumb it down again, make it a slogan, and repeat it ad nauseam.
republicans are dumber than democrats but they are much smarter on communications. republicans understand every news story is an opportunity to say "democrats created that mess, republicans will fix it." democrats think the news just happens and is in a silo separate from politics.

While I think democracy is the best system, its inherent flaw is that the informed and educated sometimes have to suffer the consequences of decisions made by idiots.
According to classical political theory, democracy’s main problem is that it has no inherent safeguards against the destructive side of human nature. A serious test will begin on January 20, 2025, shortly after noon. WE WILL BE TESTED!

And while we’re at it, “choir” is singular, so it should be “IT practiced all year long.”
The weirdest part of any Christmas song is when Paul McCartney goes ‘The choir of children sing their song, they practised ALL YEAR long’ and then it turns out it’s just them saying ‘ding dong’ a few times
