The most important thing in writing is to finish. A finished thing can be fixed. A finished thing can be published. A finished thing can be made into a movie.

An unfinished thing is just a dream. And dreams fade if you don't hold on tight enough.

So finish the thing.

There are two rules I have when I go into writing a script

1. Don't make your protagonist and antagonist philosophical or philosophically themed

2. Write in a way that makes you the writer not understand what the characters are thinking.

Reason it makes writing more challenging and fun

What I find hard about writing is making a villain everyone hates and I don't mean you love to hate I mean you genuinely hate with every fiber of your being because i have to throw my morals out the windowwhile writing relatable villains and villains people like easy.

Writers, an easy thing to make your writing tighter: Take out "started to" and "began to."

Their phone started to ring ❌
Their phone rang ✅

He began to run away ❌
He ran away ✅

There are exceptions, but usually these words are clutter.

What I like to do when I write scripts is have music in mind for each scene and then make a Spotify playlist to make sure everything meshes well
