The last 2 weeks of my life have been devoted to making these Hollow Knight masks for my kids costumes (also capes & swords. I'm so excited for Halloween to be over so I can stop making these damn costumes lol (patterns by @lilitcosplay , my first time using EVA foam so hopefully I did them justice)

Today I’m working on a transitional shot for my cartoon, Axalot. The final shot will have Artie dancing while fixing the wagonator, Tammy playing the Lute and singing, and Axel collecting clovers, and they are being spied on through binoculars.

Finally got my office the way I like it… in blender lol. I wish I had this space in real life. I will be using this image as a background for tiktoks and zoom calls

Working on the animations for Axalot. I use a combo of vector rigs & raster images animated with curvers & warp layers in Moho. This is a quick shot of Artie, Axel, & Tammy being spied in by Murlock the Wizard, so most of it will be faster images drawn in procreate & imported as PSD files into Moho.

First piece of 2024, didn’t intend it to be lol, I was testing out a custom brush pack input together and wanted to make sure you could actually paint with it. Didn’t realize it was the first painting of 2024 until I wrote the year on my signature

I was storyboarding my cartoon, Axalot, and got to the part where we meet the villager (a character who lives in every village and exists to provide exposition and sarcasm) and realized I hadn’t made him a mood/expression chart yet! So here it is. He is voiced by the very talented Nick Afka Thomas

This page took me way longer than I would have liked, just in terms of motivation. The actual work took the same amount of time as most of my pages, but I am not currently hyper fixated on my comic, I got a lot on my mind and a lot going on in life. Felt good to finally get it done.

This is my new painting/AR hologram. so while I think it looks pretty good as is, it’s meant to be viewed through the camera on your iPhone. The painting is called “shattered movement”, to view the hologram scan the QR code, open the link, click “view” and then point the camera at the painting

I’m in the process of producing a pilot for a cartoon show I wrote. I signed a new media agreement with SAG-AFTRA so the project is NOT struck and I’ve got some amazing actor friends attached. The show is called Axalot and it’s about an axolotl who becomes a knight by way of a magic ax
