Look at that.. the last remaining signatory to the Mine Ban Treaty who had not yet ratified has now done so. 📣 The Marshall Islands joins the Mine Ban Treaty (will be fully bound on Sept 1). It's a sign of how troubling this work can be when government sources crow about arms sales being the "highest ever". I expect that Trump will aim to go even higher, but don't expect that to make the world any safer.
