Yesterday we lost the sweetest, kindest man I’ve ever known. Eric Poche was my friend and teacher when I was a volunteer for 8 years with the Zen Hospice Project sitting bedside with residents at Laguna Honda Hospital.

This week I received certifcation of my completion of the Lake Tahoe Triple Crown of marathon swimming last Aug. My aggregate time of 21:34:32 for the 43.9-mile (67.7 km) series is currently 4th among the 24 who have completed the Triple Crown since 2018. Not bad for 60!

In dark times beauty is resistance, so tonight “Cool Britannia” — 3 very different performances by 3 British choreographers — Chroma (McGregor), Within the Golden Hour (Wheeldon), and Dust (Khan). So good! 🙏🏻
