I think these look really cool! You should create them as add-ons if you haven't already 🙂

Great! Thank you. I actually think my answer to the question still is fairly correct 😅 However, there's always a grayscale to decisions, depending on who leads the initiative, what time do we have, and what are the goals? The camel husk also intended to show 2 people can ride on it, so multipurpose!

I think there might be some context missing. Do you remember exactly when I says something like that?

Yeah, though we don't really talk about "lore" any more. I had a certain personality in mind for the ravager, and making it scared of rabbits (or other animals) didn't fit.

That would be awesome

It was formed (under a different name) during the development of Minecraft Earth because Earth needed many new mob variants and we didn't have a clear idea of how it all connected.

😆 Order "congratulations!" at a restaurant and you get a piece of burnt coal.

It was written for internal use only, but I knew that there was a risk it would be leaked. I'm not stressed about it. The funny thing is it "leaked" in an unexpected way... the printing company shared a copy according the Swedish law about "duty copies" for preservation in the national library.

Yes, I helped her with the templates and a friend printed them directly on top of the bricks. The shop is fully decorated on the inside, too! (Check insta for pictures)

Uhm... I had to pick up my copy of the book again. Where does it say we shouldn't have auto-crafting? FWIW, I was participating in creating prototypes of the crafter block.

Let's say it's my personal headcanon. However, people have been posting timelapses of what happens to your world if you do nothing for a long time. It's slowly picked apart.
Our current thinking is that if there is no benefit in explaining things we shouldn't explain them. Player stories are better

I would consider it more of a sandbox. We add "toys" to the sandbox that expand what players can do. The setting is fantasy, but it's not an RPG in the way most people think about RPGs (character development, narrative, etc)

Yes I agree. The creeper is a mob that is genuinely scary, because if you aren't dealing with it, it will set you back. The point I was making that if the creeper didn't exist already it would be hard for us to add it now. The community backlash would be strong.

Yes, it's an internal onboarding book that we give to new Mojangsters (and sometimes business partners). I wrote it in 2018 and we've learned new things since then, but it's a good primer I suppose!

... we would likely put guardrails around its destructive behavior. Maybe limits to where and when it spawns? Maybe it would be triggered by something specific the player is doing? In any case, the creeper IS iconic, and it's one of the few monsters that is actually scary. (2/2)
