My guess is that Venezuela has a much better capacity to fight than the US administration is willing to confirm. The US intelligence and military knows that, but I'm not sure the administration are willing to listen to them. Blowing up boats is not the same as tracking down modern radars.

I know to little about Russians in Venezuela, but from what I could find it seems like they are rather few. Most likely they will avoid any confrontation. They will just advice, but that could mean crucial info about doctrines and tech are available to Venezuelan military.

The critical point isn't really who gave the order, but whether they try to defend the order as given during a war. That makes Venezuelas point that there is a war going on. If they try to defend it without claiming it is a war they open up for murder charges in 80+ cases.

They are fighting for their own survival. If they loose the war, the current regime in Russia is doomed.

Hvis problemet med solar flares blir større, og vedvarer, så regner jeg med at tilsvarende programvareendringer blir rullet ut fra både Småblaut og Epleskrotten.

Det finnes spesielt minne som kan rette slike minnefeil i maskinvaren, men det er dyrere enn ordinært minne, og brukes sjelden i forbrukerelektronikk. Det er mulig å gå rundt problemet med programvareendringer, men det er ikke alltid effektivt og i mange tilfeller fungerer det ikke.
