With everything going on in the world right now, to be conspiratorial about the Ann Arbor District Library is ... a choice.

What a world view to believe and publicly state that the library is a fascist and/or authoritarian organization that is somehow in cahoots with/controlled by City government.

Thrilled to have voted to allow the award-winning @aadl.org to build a new building on the library lot! So excited to have a modern library with lots of meeting and performance space, a well-programmed plaza, and a mix of affordable and market-rate housing right by the bus station! #A2Council

Taking a brief break from vacation to beg #A2Council to reject the memo one or more City Councilmembers has written instructing the Planning Commissioners to yet again restrict development over the next 25 years in favor of "respecting neighborhood context."
