Excited to share that I just accepted an offer from U of Oregon. UT has been great to me and there are a lot of things I will miss, but I'm really looking forward to this next chapter! 🦆🌲🌳🥳🌲⛰️

We had a mini family reunion at the (fantastic) Specialist Meeting on GIS and Conservation at UCSB. This is my academic “mom” and 2 “sisters”.

Another example of how US journalism is failing us: NYT was apparently surprised by Shane's passing ("a full obituary will be published shortly"). Also, RIP Shane. I ripped a skirt in a mosh pit at one of his concerts in Anaheim in the early aughts. Good times...
