There are so many people with guns of all sorts, even well-trained snipers out there. Maybe someone gets really pissed because they get all their veteran benefits taken from them and they really depend on this. There are so many people that are extremely angry right now. Let's just hope for the best

I am so focused on current things that my memory of what I did a year ago and how the work environment was is really blurry and mostly useless and I don't think I am very special in that regard. I wonder how they came up with the idea of asking you, sounds like someone went over some HR check list.

Small correction, his name was Frank E. Petersen if you want to read up on Wikipedia or in another source.

A touch of dripping red color would suit all these signs, don't you think? Just a touch, like in the elevator scene in Shining.

I wish the military took over, they are the only organization left that swore and upholds their oath to the constitution. All MAGA traitors should be thrown in jail and get their fair trial.

Praying does not help, you can still do it if it makes you feel better, of course. What is needed is protest, civil disobedience and opposing the evil forces at every step. Not buying from anyone supporting the tyranny is one of the things to do and treating cyber trucks with "respect" a plus.

He is an effing toddler. The bad thing is the amount of damage he is doing, which is soon irreversible unless people show strong opposition. I don't even want to laugh about these clowns any more. They are trying to distract us using their stunts from the real issues.

Can't it hurry up a bit, there is a nice landing spot in Florida on a golf course.

He is one of the worst, how he acted after Jan 6 will be part of his shameful legacy.

We cannot let this happen. It will cost people's lives in the same way that cuts to Medicare, medical research and social security etc. will cause suffering. It needs to be opposed at every step possible. The vast majority of US citizens are being treated like dirt by this Mafia billionaire clan.

I studied mathematics, so I see it too as a beautiful topic and I like both the playful aspects as well as the timelessness and authority of mathematical truth which by itself is "enough". But since I am mostly a programmer these days, I am always on the lookout for practical application, too. 😉

@danabra.mov What was your motivation to look into lean, "just" intellectual curiosity or do you have some application in mind if I may ask?

I just did it, we should each do it every day. Like brushing your teeth.

They can call it whatever they like, it will always be the Gulf of Mexico for me. On the other hand I know of a place I will call Maharón-a-Lago from now on.

Why not start today with this? At the current rate of destruction of foundations, Feb 28 is too far away.

I am seriously considering this. And deleting WhatsApp. Good that we don't own a Tesla.

South Korea just demonstrated how it's done!

Gentoo is also on my bucket list, but I am even more motivated to use NixOS at some point, I really like the concept of pinning down declaratively how a system is built.

The billionaire elite must be taken out by force before everything goes into their pockets as well as Russia's and China's.

I am Spanish and as a kid I had to hear this quite frequently. Even as a kid I found the lyrics very un-emancipated and the music forgettable and cringe. I much prefer the other nostalgia (Abba, Hot Chocolate, even some songs of Boney M).
