Another superb day at King George Park when this PALLAS’ WARBLER appeared from the Goldcrest flock in front of us and Mark (visiting birder) called out “Pallas!”, another memorable morning. Up to 3 Yellow-browed Warblers were calling ebird.org/checklist/S2... #kentbirding @kentishplover.bsky.social

Brilliant day at @dungenessbirdobs.bsky.social where 231 (!) Crossbills flew over the recording area. Decent VisMig produced a Serin and thousands of Brent Geese offshore. A smart Yellow-browed Warbler was in the Trapping Area #kentbirding @kentishplover.bsky.social

Witnessed migration in action at Sandwich Bay with Meadow Pipits, Siskins and Hirundines a constant feature overhead. Pied Flycatcher, Goldcrests, Firecrests in the bushes and a crowd-pleasing White-tailed Eagle drifted south over the Observatory #kentbirdmigrationday #kentbirding

Change in weather and overnight rain at King George Park failed to produce the goods. Up to six Chiffchaffs, a few Swallows and a flock of 108 Common Scoter offshore were the best on offer this morning ebird.org/checklist/S2... #kentbirding #ukbirding @kentishplover.bsky.social

Heavy rain this morning dropped some nice birds into Pegwell Bay, flocks of Ringed Plovers were arriving before flying inland.
