This is a stark departure from the past.
Before, those detained were held for no longer than 48 hrs. They were then released or transferred to ICE.
Now, however, the detentions are lasting days/weeks.
Families & lawyers struggle to contact the detained.

Developers of massive data centers (think, 15 football fields) are eyeing the STAMP industrial park.
They want huge tax breaks to do so.
Residents, environmentalists & the Tonawanda Senecas are all opposed.
