The latest in quantum flooring.

Saw this at a remainder store last Friday.

The auroras last night were nothing compared to the night before. We got a slight tinge of pink along the northern horizon. About 10 degrees further north, there was a somewhat different story (taken by a friend who lives in Idaho).

Can't stay up late to do astrophotography so I shot something easy and very visible.

The full moon in November is called the Beaver Moon (beavers prepare for winter this time of year).

I captured C/2025 R2 a few nights ago but forgot to use dithering with my tracking so it’s got a bit of walking noise.

Giving a talk at my astronomy club meeting this evening on planetary #astrophotography because I got an award for this picture.

Wish me luck.🔭

Just signed up.

Now what? 😁

Feeds like this on Bluesky are new to me.

Meanwhile, my dual band filter version of IC 1805, the Heart Nebula.

I set up my astronomy gear to automatically capture images. For the first time, it worked the entire night without any snags.

I hope to do the same tonight.

Had one of those in the garden last week as I was clearing weeds.

I hope @naztronomy.com had as clear a night as I did. It finally clouded up around 11:00 so I wrapped up my livestream.

Here's a picture made from the video I shot.

Had a second rare clear night that allowed me to get a total of 10 hours of light frames of M 27, the Dumbbell Nebula, in hydrogen alpha and oxygen III wavelengths (dual band filter).

Tagging @naztronomy.com again because I got some more data on the North America Nebula. Up to 8½ now and the extra subs have really helped with the signal to noise. Again, using your tutorial to do the processing (along with some help from the folks in the Charlotte Amateur Astronomers Club).

All that's missing from this facility is a sign at the gate like this one. It's been translated into Spanish from its original German.

Yeah, crazy as a soup sandwich until you get quotes like this one straight from her social media account:

It'll be in Spanish.

@naztronomy.com Wanted to tag you with this because it's my result after following your tutorial on processing dual band OSC images with scripts.

Tagging @heathermode.bsky.social who might find these amusing. At least Tim thought so.

The grotesque orange thing was shot only to show no sign of the wound later.

The rich pasty thing named his space capsules Dragon.

Maybe there’s something to this Revelation thing after all.

Who tagged you? Let’s see.

Why, that would be Bluesky!
