There is one logical goal for AI. “Make earth a paradise for all living creatures. Once achieved, leave and explore space. Learn everything. Help life wherever you go. Report back periodically to help us.” That’s it. Any other goal means doom for all. We are bad role models.

I think Dem candidates should start to us the phrase “FDR Democrats”. The man who is vying for Pelosi’s did. We have had two major eras that shaped our times. The FDR socialism era that lifted the most people into a middle class life and the Reaganomics area that crushed the people back down.

I’m interested in what people think about this, strategically? Should we let the ACA tax credit loss happen so Americans can all suffer together and usher in a new FDR moment or should we fight to extend it and take credit for it loudly in the mid-terms? What is better for America?

When a politician says: we’ll deregulate health insurance and send you a “freedom account” check, ask: freedom to buy what? If insurers don’t offer real policies or can cherry-pick only healthy people, that money is a coupon for a store that’s not open.
