During the 2024 campaign Democrats wanted nothing to do with standing up for trans rights. The polling was bad and the party was chicken shit on it. Now the GOP is terrorizing trans Americans. They are the prime actor here but Democratic cowardice helped. The party loaded the gun for Trump.
