In snow, Cardinal, House Finch, Eastern Bluebird and Red-winged Blackbird with some Starlings. Birds not in picture included Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse, Carolina Wren, Dark-eyed Junco, White-throated Sparrow, American Goldfinch, Mourning Dove, Red-bellied Woodpecker and Downy Woodpecker.

On my walk this cold, windy morning, I saw lots of American Robins and Dark-eyed Juncos. This Robin was right by the road and stay still long enough for a photo. I see many more American Robins in the Fall/Winter than I do in the warmer months. 1 Nov. 2025. Yarmouth, ME U.S.

Today I got pictures of a Dark-eyed Junco, Red-breasted Mergansers, a Common Loon by the dock and a Red Squirrel (Tamiasciurus hudsonicus). Here in Maine and New Hampshire we have the subspecies gymnicus, smaller and darker than the other subspecies in N.A.
