These are all Platanthera but four different species. I’ve had Spiranthes do well before but otherwise most of my lab orchids have been Australian natives.

If you reach out to Jamie Gorrell at UNBC he will be able to tell you more about the field work opportunities. Alternatively you could apply for one of the field jobs with the marmot recovery foundation. They advertise every year.

I would have hoped this was illegal… it’s kind of a contract put in place at a certain time under certain rules at that time. 😞
