I bought a bag of carrots, a bag of celery and a bag of onions nearly two weeks ago specifically to chop up, bag, chuck in the freezer for soup making. The celery has turned to mush, the carrots are bendy and the onions are doing their best to survive - massive fail 🤦♀️

If I lived alone my fridge and freezer would basically only contain sourdough seeded bread, wholemeal pittas plus eggs, ham, peppers, coleslaw, cheese, butter and garlic. And a lot of cheese based mugshots. I’d die of scurvy.

Though my go to is usually cheese on toast/ham and cheese toastie with garlic butter. Or eggs. Or avocado on toast. Or a Mugshot 🙈

Though, a friend of mine has found somewhere local that does the meal preps boxes delivered weekly and costs less than buying and cooking same meals themselves. If they buy more it gets cheaper and then can be frozen too.

Looking at everything the preferred parking would have been at the museum but it’s restricted on time limit and suspect it will be rammed as you can’t reserve a spot

Excellent! Tbf we should t need anything as we have a fully equipped van and will chuck some emergency food in the fridge just in case. £18 and supposedly secure etc
