Thought I had at our last meetup. Moved two weeks before Helene to Asheville. That was a fun month. Luckily they'd moved to the top of a mountain so minimal damage for them, still without power or water for two weeks. Brother drove up and helped clear out their area.

Half me, half my mother. I do most of the baking and the gravy. Mom does the veg, we team up on turkey. My stepdad does the cleanup.

We try to get our collards as fresh from the farm as we can, either from the farmers market or off of someone selling them out of a truck bed
