You may know this and already have ruled it out, but UTIs in the elderly cause massive confusion and mood swings. Hope it gets easier soon.

I've had that in the past, had to use hydrocortisone which they try to avoid for faces usually, and an antibiotic cream because it got infected. As you can imagine, I was fighting people off.
