One of the coolest things about publishing a book in Norway is that the gov will automatically buy 1k copies, 1.5K if its a children's book, these will then be distributed to all the libraries.

The cruelties of the UK family visa scheme.

My American husband & I were able to negotiate this cruel system & he now has Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK. Many face a Xmas separated from their loved ones. Starmer's too afraid of Farage to change things.

I don't believe for a second Starmer doesn't want to ban Musk donating millions to Reform cos he's afraid it might backfire. It has everything to do with the Labour right not wanting scrutiny of the sources of its own donations. Party before country as always.
