The coyotes in the power line easement are free you just have to take one home.
Lobo, a grayish-brown shepherd, chews on a bone on a carpeted floor. A jolly ball and a rope toy sit next to him. Love sitting in the same spot on the floor, but now no longer chewing on the bone and alert.

I treated myself tonight to a Lego model. This was fairly cheap ($60) for what it is (a 1:1 scale Game Boy with articulated buttons assembled with plastics and math someone else did for me). It’s blowing my mind. Carl Merriam, you’re an absolute freak. Holy cow?? Impressive in the hands.

My taking a picture in the mirror maze in Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry. The color’s completely blown out on account of monochromatic blue/purple lights but I’m in a patterned button-up, a T-shirt with the Half-Life lambda logo on it, and in a KN95 face mask. Steam profile items are just socially-accepted NFTs.
A selection of profile icons for the Steam Community, including animations and oscillating gifs of various video games, including a handful of Id Software-themed icons. There's also a handful of keyboards. Of note is that all of these were released for free during Steam promotional events, as I personally use a custom profile icon, an option that's been available since the beginning.

I’m shit at art but fun fact: you can draw over pictures you have for practice and study the shapes and things to get better. Like you just gotta throw yourself at increasingly complex works with things you wanna practice. No stable diffusion shit required. This was 2 hours during an Xmas party.

The player in Abiotic Factor holds a water bottle in part of the game’s underground facility. Directly in front of them is the Leyak, a floating, blood-red skull full of teeth and with three eyes, with two prehensile jawed appendages not unlike the Xenomorph (from Alien) protruding from it’s mouth. It’s floating a top a pair of lungs with long segmented tendrils hanging down. The Leyak picks a single player in the session to stalk every 15 minutes IRL, in which it slowly drifts towards the player when they’re not looking to get behind them. Should the player get to close, the Leyak attacks with the jawed appendages to bite and rip into the player, causing bleeding and decently high damage. It only goes away if the player maintains their distance and stares at it until it vanishes, at which point it picks a new target to stalk 15 minutes later.

I guess if you just have a single zero-context screenshot, it might be deceptively easy to assume a lot of narrative-heavy games with meaningful things to say are just elaborate shitposts.

I guess food for my own thoughts. Kind of about specific posts of mine from 12/17 days ago
"Please adjust the slider until the dog and the cat are friends", from one of the openings of The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. The aforementioned slider is all the way at the left and the dog and the cat flank the space directly above the bar. A "Confirm" button sits below the bar. A note from Gone Home, next to the games console: "Chun Li Moves: Fireball: <-(hold)-> + punch, Lightning Kick: kick kick kick kick!!!, Helicopter Kick: ↓ (hold) ↑ + kick, Air Stomp: ↓ +HK (while jumping) MK". A splatter artwork piece in the "This game is connected to the Internet" segment of "The Beginner's Guide". A number of nodes sit in front of the work, one of which is displaying the text "It's about how this game is pretentious and you all suck". A number of cows floating in the kaleidoscopic quantum void between the most micro- and most macro-level views in "Everything".
