I was scanning a cliffside at Lava Beds National Monument and did a double-take when I came across this Barn Owl deep within a crevasse. At first, I thought it was standing at an angle, but it was actually leaning on the wall. The sun was setting and it was just waking up. 🪶 #birds #owls

What a thrill it was to sit on a dune and watch these brown pelicans dive for fish in the shallows. There's just something about freshwater flowing into the ocean that has always fascinated me. 🪶 #birds #wildlife #oregoncoast
