Why are we even seeing dude’s name pop up? I shouldn’t even see dude’s name in my email notifications. Why is dude still being published? How does dude still have a platform? We really separating the scholar from the scholarship in 2025? What a joke.

Not sure whether forcing your colleagues to use AI just because language skills among Anlophones is collapsing is really a good look.

My fellow academics, do y’all ever move around your house to get a change of pace while working? For example, I’ll go from working at my actually office at home to the table in the dining room or to the couch. Though the couch is dangerous sometimes 😂

I 100000% recommend watching this movie. It’s easily a 9.5/10. I would say it’s almost as good as Get Out (if you haven’t seen Get Out I cannot help you). Ryan Coogler’s best film to date!

woo hoo! This is such an amazing program. Taking applications now!
Call for applications for the inaugural Racing the Classics cohort-based fellowship (funded by a major award won by Dan-El Padilla Peralta and Sasha-Mae Eccleston). Mentorship, summer seminar, monthly practicum, stipend/travel, and more www.racingtheclassics.com
RACING THE CLASSICS
Racing the Classics began as a conference series. The summer seminar takes up the mantle of that series by inviting fellows to gather in-person for intensive, sustained conversation.

Going to be a very important book. Mark my words.
✨ proofs day ✨ for God, Slavery, and Early Christianity! I’m thrilled that the dissertation-turned-book will be out in the world some time this fall, and hope that folks enjoy wading through hundreds of pages about the Shepherd, slavery, spirit possession, and the formation of Christian ethics.
