Lol, sorry, midwesterner privilege.

There will come a point, when you’ve had a 3-4 night run of only 2-5 hours of sleep each day, when you’ve forgotten to do the bottles because brain, and it’s 11pm…

…you’ll want the microwavable or automatic option.

If and when you switch to formula. A Brezza is 100% worth it.

Pressing a button at 3am to instantly spit out warm milk is worth the $100-200.

We used one of those Phillips microwavable bottle steamers initially and that was honestly ideal. Super fast.

You can typically run them in the dishwasher but you’ll have more bottles than dishes for a while.

Also Snoos suck. You’ll be tempted but they don’t work. You just gotta power through.

You will likely tell someone to fuck off in this period of your life when they ask you “have you tried burping her?”

First, congratulations! It’s all exhausting but 100% worth it.

Second. Here are my unsolicited suggestions:

• Baby wipe warmer - no one wants to wake up to a cold wet rag on their ass
• Onesies with zippers - fuck snaps
• Stok Iced Coffee - to chug at 2-3am in the morning when you do your shift

Honestly the drawing was meant to be a start of drawing some of the contestants too but my 2-year-old is going through a sleep regression that is making the light of my iPad a bit too bright. 😅

Might have to start drawing these again.

Ahh, Sam Campbell and Mel were fantastic.

Honestly going series to series, it kind of comes down to what rosters had the best chemistry.

There are a few that had great individual contestants I liked but maybe the season felt flat to me.

Like I enjoy Mike Wozniak but his season was just fine.

Awww man that’s tough to narrow to contestant.

I could get close to favorite series:

Like 5 had Bob Mortimer, Aisling, Nish.

Or series 7 with James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert.

14 with Fern Brady and Dara O Brian.

Even the most recent series was an all-timer.

Double-decker tour bus drivers need a place to live too, sir.

Can I just say, your run is an overlooked gem of the New 52 era.

I always felt the underpowered, t-shirt wearing, Superman of the people Morrison created deserved more time than it was given.

This was a great way to bring back that concept.

Beyond Maximum Fun, are there ways to support your work (for now)?

Is there anyone left at Polygon at this point? You were the only reason I hadn’t deleted my bookmark.

That’s it?!?

Seriously, the city government is in the midst of their Thomas Cook PR crisis and they forcibly eject one of his known accusers?

All while someone comments “walk like lady.”

And they thought “this will be fine, this won’t look bad.”

What preceded this? What reasoning do they have for this?

Here’s what blows my mind. From 2005-2007, I was a restaurant delivery driver during college.

We had a big map next to the driver exit. You just looked at it before leaving.

This was rural Indiana and somehow I’m not dead.

Mhmm mhmm, we have a Fellow Stagg which is primarily used for Harney and Son’s Earl Grey and the occasional pour over.

Happy to also enthusiastically answer questions involving coffee makers, fiber internet, and the benefits of a tankless water heater.

It says something about my age that this is the sort of post the gets a response out of me.

Wirecutter was helpful when we looked the last time 3-4-it’s years ago.

We ended up with a Leesa, foam/spring mix, super comfy, though the foam can retain heat during the summer a bit for my taste.

It would be awesome if you did. I’d love a local news-related interview show and something like a short week-in-review would be great.

Wait, MI has a podcast?

I recall the first time I drove by Loon Lake Lodge after its new owner moved it. I thought “is this like a David Lynch themed restaurant?”

I Googled it, it wasn’t.

Your original review of the Playdate was what pushed me to preorder it way back when.

While I don’t play it as much as I would if it had a backlight, I’m never not filled with joy using this thing.
