The Deadwood Bible is a wonderful labor of love featuring cast interviews, essays, and recaps by Matthew Zoller Seitz. Perfect reading when taking the air. Don’t have one yet? The day ain’t fucking over.

Had this one a few years but only got around to it this summer. It’s outstanding, and about far more than football. Willie Morris was one hell of a writer. Plus who doesn’t love a deckled edge? If you want a southern read by someone who knows the area intimately this one comes highly recommended.
