I had a fantastic time at the Quantum Foundry workshop at UC Santa Barbara. Thank you to Ram Seshadri and Stephen Wilson for the invite. I gave a talk and my student Jacob was able to present a poster on his work.

These are our box furnaces with canopy ventilation above them. With input from the grad students, all of the box furnaces are named after video game locations (Clock Town from Majoras mask, Mementos from Persona 5, Midgar from FF7, etc)

This is our microscope with camera attachment to connect to a local monitor. We can use an app on our phones to livestream or take pictures with scale bars too.
