In the age of the Thought Leader, we have to hold each other accountable and interrogate our assertions.

But we also have to know when we should wade into uncharted territory and whether it is folly to think we could offer anything of substance.

Andrew Carnegie is turning over in his grave. The golden age of American Capitalism is collapsing at the helm of Trump and they’re celebrating.

This is globalisation in action and America is just becoming yet another destination of lower node value chain actors.

When Trump and his cronies said they wanted to bring back the good ol’ days we didn’t think he meant the 1800s.

Completing Richard V. Reeves’s Of Boys and Men definitely hits a different nerve with a 19-month old boy sleeping next to me.

His messages and proposals (both thoroughly researched) should not be ignored. Internally, they have sparked some interesting conversations between my wife and I already.

Red and blue education outcomes will be fascinating to study.

I guess we’ll see how big of an inequality wedge this drives between the different states based on their “choices”. Certainly might begin to see more misinformation and denial of science from the next generations of MAGA states.

Imperialism also carries an underbelly of racial and cultural superiority and my way of life is better than yours.
