Great result at the charity shop. I got a copy of Two Worlds, by David Daiches. It’s the story of a Jewish family in Edinburgh in the 1920s and 30s. His father was Rabbi in the synagogue at Graham Street - which was renamed Keir St some time later.

Got new iPhone, running iOS26. Opened the new “Games” app, and it had all my contacts in it under “Friend Suggestions”.

It was my kid’s prom last night. Why is it that they insist on sharing photos through any app that strips out resolution and colour depth??
If you want to make a hit app for teens, just get those beautiful iPhone photos down to under 1MP and looking dull as dish water. They all seem to love that. 🤷♂️
