Surely if we lose the USAID and the Department of ED, good samaritan conservatives will willingly donate their money to make it so that disenfranchised people are still able to eat and learn, right?

Now that they are saving on taxes, they'll choose to spend their money on stewardship.

Right?....

While I think that Democrats don't play dirty and utilize loopholes enough compared to Republicans, the president pardoning his son just serves as another example of how our justice system and the justice system of the rich and powerful are two wildly different things.

Thinking about how conservatives suddenly adopted IVF and stem cell research and now consider them a good thing.

If a man is born without the ability to have children but he self-identifies as a father figure, it's okay to go to a doctor to change his biology to better match his self-image.

Frustrated by election?

Buy an axe and chop some wood for you and your neighbors. Gives you a sense of giving back to your community while also releasing unbridled primordial rage for a broken society.

Nothing reminds you that you exist in a cultural bubble as much as going to another country and seeing what you see as a common everyday item labeled as "American".

Seen at a Halloween store in The Hague, Netherlands.

Maybe you already knew that the Netherlands has an elaborate network of canals, but did you know that they engineered little ramps in their canals for baby ducks to get in/out? Fucking adorable and very considerate city planning!

I see people posting words for random things that they are interested in to teach the algorithm what they like. From what I understand, Bluesky isn't supposed to have algorithms?? Does this actually work or is that just wasted effort?

I don't know what my first post on Bluesky should be. I suppose to help break the social media ice, I'll leave it at this...
