Didn't the Liberals just buy Alberta a pipeline that increased flow by 3x? I live in Alberta, and I am tired of AB me first. The Feds subsidize oil billions each year, yet nothing but bitching from the hillbillies. Oil companies are showing record profits but laying people off. Think automation.

The original thought behind this clause was that it's use would be so politically damaging, it wouldn't get used. Now it's just a cut and paste paragraph that ais dded to more and more legislation. How long before the charter is irrelevant?
As we ready for the UCP's 2nd pre-emptice use of the notwithstanding clause in as many weeks, let's clarify what this means.

This is a measured approach that recognizes addiction while also protecting the young. Canada should absolutely adopt a similar approach.
